Keys to Your Wealth

One of the programs I joined recently was "My IM Mentors". Jit Uppal & Adam Spiel had posted a very simple squeeze page. Instead of being the typical 15 page novel, the entire page was above the fold. 

In the first session, Jit & Adam teach that yes, the money is in the list. However, to have a list, you must spend time on two things: Your Squeeze Page and Generating Traffic.

Their style is pretty easy-going and down to earth. Their goal is to help the team of folks who signed up to be successful in Internet Marketing through their six week training program.

While squeeze pages aren't especially difficult, they suggested that one of the big failures folks have is never finishing their squeeze pages. To help us finish ours, they assigned it as homework, provided a big incentive (they are going to send free traffic to it), they've reduced it to a bare minimum and they are providing a number of pre-setup templates.

Now when I say pre-setup.... you still have to edit them to put in your affiliate links, customize them for your domain, and figure out how to integrate it onto your webhost and link to Aweber. That being said, Adam & Jit did a great job in explaining the basics and have provided videos for each step in the process.

Creating Traffic is the other big hurdle. They like to use JV Giveaways and AdSwaps. We complained--- hey, as newbies, we have nothing to offer. And of course that turns out to not be true. We can each bring a lot to the table. The Giveaways don't have to be our own products and for AdSwaps, you don't have to trade traffic for traffic, you can barter your particular skillset.

So, the actual 4 steps in this first training session are to:

• Create A Squeeze Page
• Offer A Free Gift
• Create a A Thank You Page
• Get Free Traffic Generation

See the simplicity, especially for the im/genius page? It doesn't get much simpler than that.

On the traffic side, Jit & Adam will push some traffic to the pages (Split among all the other students). And I've signed up for one JV Giveaway event and am working on an adswap. [The last part of my homework to complete before the next class].
