Frequently Asked Questions
Yeah, it says something like: Disclaimer: Yes, if you buy one of the products attached to my links and ads, I do make money.
I'm reviewing a lot of products. Spending lots of money on them. I'm into them for thousands of dollars. I seem to be acquiring them faster than I can write about them but I do intend to write about all of them.
I'm expecting that there will be one or two that I get really excited about because they actually work and make me money. Most will probably require a much longer investment in time and energy that I will put into them for a review. Some are simply risky and so not only can I lose what I put into the product, I could lose even more. Or I could make a ton.
If they offer an affiliate program, I usually sign up and then create a special link to their site. If you sign up with their program, I will probably make some money. If I make a lot of money (regardless of whether it is from users on the site or from the activities of the program), I will likely report it here.
However, every offer is your decision. I am trying to be straight-forward and honest in my reviews. I like a lot of the products but even if they work for me, I can't promise that they will work for you.
The FTC wants you to know that you might not make money using any program I recommend (or don't recommend) and that I might make money if you buy something. Heck, I might make money if you give your email address to somebody.
My goal in this site is not to make a ton of money off of my users by promoting all the programs I write about but to provide a place to be able to see many of the offers out there and have a little idea of what they are about before you plunk down your money. I do not intend to promote one product over another because it pays or doesn't pay.
Hope that helps.
We still haven't written the official long, hard to read, approved by our attorney, legal privacy policy.
But, basically, when we gather your email address and other information, we do not give it away or sell it. It belongs to Keys2Wealth.com and no one else.
At this time, we don't store financial information like credit cards and bank account info. We have that done by a third party like PayPal or Authorize.net. I think they have their privacy policies down pretty good but if you really are anal, feel free to read their policies when my site takes you to their site.
Now, when we email you and in some of the various offers on our site, other companies may ask for your email address. If you give it to them, we don't vouch for them.
Also, some of our advertisers, like Google with AdSense and other ads and some features of the system may create cookies on your system. We don't do anything with the cookies other than to help give you better choices on this site or to be able to manage the use of certain features. I don't know what those other guys do with your cookies. Overall, I have found cookies make my experience better but if you don't like them, feel free to tell your browser to reject them.
There are 6 roles set up for this site: anonymous, authenticated, member, author, editor, and administrator.
Anonymous users are those users who simply visit the site without logging in. They can see most of the articles, videos and stories. They cannot leave comments and attachments to the various articles are usually not available to them.
Authenticated simply means that the user created an account and is logged into the system. Authenticated users can leave comments and they can usually see attachments to articles. There are also some pages and links that are visible to them but not to anonymous users.
Member is an authenticated user who has paid a membership fee. Being a member allows them to see content that is reserved only for paying members. There are actually two types of member content. There is content that all members can see by virtue of being a member. There is sometimes specialized content that is paid for separately. In those cases, a list of the content that the member has access to is stored in a database and when accessing paid content, the list will be referred to.
Author is a special role that allows individuals to create content for us. We are open to having guest authors who contribute articles under their own name. The articles are reviewed by an editor before posting.
Editor is a reserved role. The editor's primary function is to review articles and other content before posting it to the live site.
Administrator is the super user dude whose mighty powers keeps all this stuff running. He has access to everything so don't mess with him, he tends to be vindictive. :-)
