Don’t Like to Sell? Then You Will Never Be Rich!
Recently, I was doing a recruitment seminar (to fresh graduates from the local universities) for one of the large insurance companies in Singapore. I talked about how anyone could achieve time freedom and financial freedom by becoming a financial advisor in Singapore. I shared how becoming a financial advisor was a powerful strategy in becoming your own boss and having the potential of earning unlimited income WITHOUT having to have lots of startup capital.
Prelaunch for New Product, Cool Video check it out
I'm not generally big on promoting new launches because the product is usually incredibly expensive and the sales pitches are sounding so similar.
I mean you've seen them. You get an email and you click on the link. They ask you for an email address and you click on it to get the free stuff they are offering. After you click on it, you get to a page that says your stuff is on the way and then gives you a OTO (one time offer) that you should take them up on because....it's going to expire. But, you haven't had a chance to see if they are offering anything good in the first place.
Reviewing the Science of Retweets
Dan Zarella, a social media and viral marketing scientist, gave a great talk on the Science of Retweets. What is that you ask? It's looking at the things that make a tweet retweetable.
What makes tweeter such a powerful media is the fact that it can go viral. The process necessary for a message to go viral is that people retweet it. To get your messages out and create a viral explosion, knowing the kinds of things that make your messages retweetable can help.
So, let's take a look at some of the things Dan shared that help make a tweet more retweetable.
Less than 25% of all tweets have links in them. Over 50% of Retweets have links in them. More content appears to be part of why people retweet.
The shortener bit.ly is in the number one spot and number two, ow.ly, is barely visible. When shortening tweets, use bit.ly
In order, the 20 most used significant words are: you, twitter, please, retweet, post, blog, social, free, media, help, please retweet, great, social media, 10, follow, how to, top, blog post, check out, & new blog post. So when appropriate, use them or change your message to incorporate them.
Creating Lists using JV Giveaways
Everybody in Internet marketing agrees that 'the money is in the list'. If that's true, then of course, you should be capturing leads and then communicating with your sign-ups effectively from the start.
